Just a beginning

So I see this gate and I just run in, I don't know what am I looking for?  But for now this place feels safe and secure.   5-10 minutes later, I sense approaching footsteps, Oh! Let me see who is it. She has average height, a pair of comfy slippers, casual lower and a loose t-shirt with roughly tied hair. As soon as I walk towards her, I hear her knocking at the door asking someone to open up. She calls out a name, I suppose. But well, I am a bit distracted by those comfy slippers, how soft. She almost jumps up as I touch her feet. At first, it shocked her maybe but then, she is totally amazed by me. She called out everyone from the other side of that mosquito net door. I just dream to peek inside but never mind!  What I knew usually was that humans were not very friendly with us at first. We were destined to be shoed away by them. But this bunch was one of a kind. As the first human called out, a much mature and chubby figure came out of that door, I wasn't really focused on t

All about life, goals and satisfaction!

Greetings dear readers, Let's begin with some basic questions today - What is our ultimate goal in life?  What is it that we truly seek out of it? What makes our life complete? I bet everyone has varied answers to these but I believe on non material level, all we want is to derive satisfaction out of  the work we engage in, throughout our life. A manner in which we could admit that we lived the life we wanted and we passionately created it for ourselves. How can we really get this satisfaction? In my view, to get to this point,  All we can try is not to let anyone else face the challenges that we did. We all face hardships in our life. There are obstacles that deviate or just stop us from getting to our needs.Once these moments are crossed, we must look back at it to question ourselves -  What were our hopes?  What kind of help were we seeking in that situation?  What were we lacking in that situation?  These questions might sound superficial but when we ponder over it, we would g

Life happens for you or to you?

Oh! Hello beautiful readers, We are just 3 months away from new year or I should say, 3 months to go for 2020 to officially end. Am I the only one who feels that 2021 should come soon?! Well never mind, whichever year it may be, I will be here with my words for you all. It has been a long time since one of my closest friends suggested me to cover a theme. I came across this quote by Tony Robbins, This quote has time and again given the boost to lead our lives and make all our dreams a reality. However, this resonated with what my friend suggested. When I read this quote, more than anything, I focused on the word ' ME ' in it. There are times when we feel powerless, like nothing turns out as we plan and that's when we stick to this thought that we are the victim of the things that happen in our life. There are many aspects that could spring this thought in our mind, but here let's focus on one of it. How often do we fall in the trap of others' expectations? There are

The Art of Letting Go

Greetings readers, Well, before I begin, let me ask you a question, are you a keeper or a spender? Do you like to store and preserve your belongings or you quickly get on to newer things in life? I don't really know how you would answer these questions but for me these are surely not the close ended questions.  I feel that no one can truly choose one of the two as both are extreme ends. While we might be good to let go in some aspects, we might be adamant in letting go on other aspects. Little do we know that our choices clearly define our personality. The people who keep the rose petals in the diary to the people who frequently change their residence, all these choices and actions gives valuable insights into their lives. While this may seem situational but if we dig deeper, the ones who keep everything with them & try to protect even lifeless things at all possible costs are usually the people who fear letting go and if not, at least it doesn't come easy to them.
