A MUCH DESIRED INTIMACY

Intimacy, the first meaning which most people associate it with is - 
Physical intimacy,such as holding hands, hugging and kissing. 
But intimacy is not only physical.
For me, intellectual intimacy is more intimidating and highly appealing. I may hug someone everyday but will be instantly drawn to a person who captures my attention on intellectual level. This kind of intimacy is rare and long lasting. 

One can be easily attracted to someone's smile, someone's hair, someone's voice, someone's eyes or even for that matter, someone's physique, but it takes a great deal to get caught by someone's intellect, by someone's way of thinking. 
A person who will spill out the words that never found a way out from your thoughts.

A person with whom arguments are logical fun game to engage in. 
A person with whom your mind feels liberated.
A person who never fails to give logical explanations for all his deeds. 
A person whose company exerts you to replenish your thought process,that is corrupted by the society's norms.
A person who forces you to enhance your reasoning.
A person in whose company you prefer to be alert and aware about everything you utter and act.

At first, you are bound to dislike this person as his/her presence is a challenge to your school of thoughts and ideas. 

But slowly and gradually, it is only with this person that you will have most lively discussions.
No topic or idea will be left untouched when you are with them, because none of you believe that any idea is futile enough not to discuss.

When you find such a person, you won't even bother to look for physical features of that person because you know, that it is  those timeless thoughts you care about , which are stupefying. 
One of the astounding facts about finding such a person is he/she can be anyone either your love interest, your relative, your old age teacher, your younger sibling or even your enemy.

But you spot something so unusual about yourselves when you are with them that it feels like you are spell bound. 
This intimacy is not something you create, it just happens. You don't get to choose this person, your mind does it for you. 
You can neither force nor repel this intimacy.

Revival of Redrosewrites!

To be honest, I never thought I was getting back to this ever, but I miss being an old fashioned blogger who writes about whatever strikes to her at any point of time.  Last year just went by like a gust of wind, too strong and all at once. I would not say it was miserable but it was well, just me trying to adjust with not-so-appealing affair called Adulting (still failing at it, but now I know to laugh it off!). The biggest change that you might notice is the edge of overdramatic expression in my writing.  All my old blogs read like coming from a mature and composed person; but this struggling at adulting Redrose version has learnt new hacks.
